Tata Altroz 12-litre Turbo Engine To Deliver 110PS India Launch Expected Around Diwali

The Altroz Turbo will utilise a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a power output of 110PS. That's a performance jump of 25PS over the naturally aspirated petrol's power output of 85PS. It's also 8PS more than the Geneva Edition at 102PS. While torque figures haven't been revealed yet, it is expected to deliver more than the Geneva show car's 140Nm since it is already more powerful than the same.

Another party trick for the turbocharged Altroz is that the engine could be paired to a dual-clutch automatic transmission instead of the Nexon's 6-speed AMT in the near future. Currently, the Altroz is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission for its 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
