2020 Hyundai i20 vs Elite i20 Hatchback Designs Compared

The two hatchbacks sport pretty similar silhouettes, down to the blacked out exterior bits on the C-pillar on both. However, the 2020 i20 has the more modern and sharper design since it employs the carmaker's Sensuous Sportiness language that can also be seen in late-model Hyundais.

Up front, the new i20 gets an a new single-piece front grille that meets with a fresh, slimmer and sharper set of LED head lamps, paired with DRLs. A triangular air dam setup and blacked out ORVMs round off the front end changes in the 2020 i20.

Head over to the side profile and the biggest change in the new i20 are the swanky 17-inch alloy wheels, a major step up from the Elite i20. Take a closer look and you'll notice the sharper design philosophy, with two sharp creases running on either side of the car. Its window area has gotten sharper with a chrome garnish running from the C-pillar to the shoulder line.

At the rear, the i20 gets a redesigned bumper and a new set of connected LED tail lamps. A part of the rear boot lid is now blacked out, like the Tata Altroz, but here the black shade extends to the entire roof.
