China sentences 10 seeking to flee HK to prison
A Chinese court on has sentenced 10 pro-democracy activists who sought to flee Hong Kong earlier this year to between seven months and three years in prison. Hong Kong media reports said at least one may have had a warrant out for his arrest. The sentences appear to be a warning to opposition activists against trying to evade provisions of the national security law.By December 30, 2020 at 10:18AM
