Kias Brawny Mohave Masterpiece Makes World Debut

has taken the wraps of a brawny SUV concept called the Mohave Masterpiece. Sporting a typical SUV body style, the Mohave wears Kia's next-gen design elements.
The front fascia gets a rugged version of the Kia's Tiger Shark grille while the horizontal LED headlamps are enclosed within it. The Mohave also features lots of chrome on the bumpers and the body to stand out from the crowd. The concept SUV also wears a connected taillight with Tiger Shark elements. To top it up the Mohave gets a chrome skid plate with a quad exhaust setup.
Likely to be based on the US-spec Telluride SUV, Kia has hinted that the Mohave will get a luxurious cabin that will rival the likes of the X7 but cost lesser than the two Germans.
As the Masterpiece is still in its concept form, there are no details regarding the mechanical bits of the car. But it must be noted that the current UAE-spec Mohave gets a 3.8-litre 6-cylinder motor that puts out 273PS and 362Nm of torque.
Kia is yet to confirm if the Mohave will be greenlighted for series production. But if it does hit the production line, it is unlikely to make its way here as the SUV is likely to be a left-hand drive only model like the Telluride.
