New Ford Endeavour Facelift Launch Tomorrow 5 Things You Should Know
The has always had a sweet spot in the hearts of the SUV community in India, but it has always been playing second fiddle to the Toyota Fortuner - whose popularity just doesn't seem to diminish.
The first model in the history of the Endeavour to be developed from the ground up to be an SUV as well as a pick-up truck, it wowed us immediately. Its design, comfortable and spacious cabin, excellent noise insulation, features, performance, on-road mannerisms and off-road capabilities had us convinced that the Fortuner finally had a worthy competitor in the market. Customers think otherwise if sales numbers are any indication, the Fortuner has comfortably kept a lead over the Endeavour after the hype for the latter died down.
The facelift was first spied back in May 2018 and will finally be launched here tomorrow. We do know almost everything about the new Endeavour, so here're five things you should too before the launch.
- It doesn't look a whole lot different from the pre-facelift model
It's like a hard game of spot the difference here. If you can't see it, the changes are - a) the front bumper design, b) the front grille design, c) the alloy wheels design (size is the same as before). That's it

Out with the grey, in with the diffused silver
One easy way to spot the new Endeavour is if you spot one in the new 'Diffused Silver' paint option. It replaces the Smoke Grey option available earlier.

A manual transmission-equipped variant will be on offer again
According to the brochure shared by Ford, the Endeavour facelift will feature the 2.2-litre, turbo-diesel paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This could be to make the Endeavour slightly more affordable than before, as well as attract customers with the promise slightly more efficiency.
The 2.2-litre motor will only be offered with a 4x2 drivetrain with both MT and AT options, while the 3.2-litre motor will be exclusively offered with 4x4 and AT.
Ford has been playing around with the variants of the Endeavour ever since it was launched back in January 2016, the manual variants were trimmed from two to one in October 2016 and completely removed from the lineup in June 2017. The Endeavour has been offered exclsuively with the 6-speed AT ever since.

Minor price changes expected
The Ford Endeavour is currently priced from Rs 26.83 lakh to Rs 33.31 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi and is available in three variants. The Endeavour facelift is expected to be offered in three variants too - 2.2 4x2 MT Titanium, 2.2 4x2 AT Titanium+ and 3.2 4x4 AT Titanium+ - with minimal changes in price.
Will the Endeavour be able to fight for the crown again? We have already driven the Endeavour facelift and are eager to tell you all about it, but you will have to wait for till later tomorrow. Ford will also announce the prices of the SUV tomorrow, so stay tuned for that.
