is one of the most iconic brands that has made a stellar return to the market, albeit with a slightly different portfolio than it used to be known for. But making SUVs has worked out pretty well so far. It's no secret that the company will be launching its first SUV in India in 2019 and that it will be based on the Baojun 530. We also know that MG will also be bringing in an electric SUV by the first quarter of 2020 which will likely be the MG eZS. It will likely be a Kona EV competitor and be similarly priced.
And now we also know that MG will not be resting at just two SUVs. Sources close to the development tell us that MG is looking to launch a third SUV in India as well. It will be launched as soon as Q3 of 2020, hot on the heels of its electric SUV launch which is set for Q1.
For the third SUV in India, MG is is considering two options at the moment. The SUV in question could either be a compact SUV to rival the . Alternatively, it could be a premium SUV, positioned above the Baojun 530-based first MG SUV. Dare we say, could it be the HS?
